The Elite Tanner Volpatti recently committed to Slippery Rock University to continue his academic and athletic careers.
Here is what he had to say about his decision…
What about Slippery Rock caught your eye? “I just really loved the coaching staff and how personable they were. Also, just really loved the campus.”
What other schools were interested in you? “Some other schools that were interested in me were Cal U, Robert Morris, Mount Union, Georgetown, Glenville State, and West Virginia State.”
What are you majoring in? “I’m going into business undeclared.”
How do you feel about being on the field again with Gavin Vargesko? “I’m really excited because I still get to play with one of my buddy’s on the field since a young age so, I’m excited about it.”
What position will you be playing? “I will be going in as a strong safety, but then the coaches said they are going to try to put more weight on me and in the future years, play outside linebacker.”
Are you excited to be attending Slippery Rock? “I am very excited.”
What jersey number are you? “I was number 27 in high school, but I have no idea yet for college.”
What was your favorite memory from Bethel Park football? “My favorite memory was beating Mt. Lebo my senior year to win the section championship.”
