Support the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Co. and Rescue Team by going to their fish and chicken dinners from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Fridays during Lent (Feb. 16, 23; March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30) in the fire hall at 162 Elm Street. The cost for adults is $6 and $5 for children under 8. Dine in, take out or delivery.
Dinners include cheesy potatoes or french fries and their famous cole slaw, a roll, dessert, coffee, tea or lemonade. Proceeds will support the new building.
